straightLaw is the commercial legal team of a dynamic law firm based in Covent Garden providing legal advice and representation to business in London and the South East.
We have been providing legal advice to businesses since 2000 and have developed straightLaw based on market research into the key concerns and requirements of small to medium sized businesses which require easy, cost effective access to experienced commercial solicitors.

straightLaw’s senior personnel are:
Seth Lovis – the senior partner of Seth Lovis & Co who advises on a range of commercial and litigation matters. Key areas include business disputes, shareholder and partnership issues and commercial contracts.
Gavin Hughes – a partner in Seth Lovis & Co who represents clients on a range of commercial litigation matters ranging from supplier disputes to general contract issues.
Jonathan Tyler – a partner in Seth Lovis & Co whose expertise lies within commercial and property litigation. He also advises business on employment matters, contracts and intellectual property.
Sue Ziegler – a senior solicitor who is an expert in employment law. Her skills include not only drafting employment contracts and procedures but also representing in tribunal actions covering matters such as unfair dismissal, redundancy, whistleblowing and discrimination. She also advises upon business set up and company matters generally.
Richard O’Hagan - a senior solicitor who specialises in contractual litigation. His practice includes debt collection, contractual disputes, drafting contracts and insolvency.
Cynthia Bengen - a senior property lawyer dealing with residential and commercial property transactions. She deals with commercial leases, lease renewals and rent issues.
